Hooray for Fall! It’s finally Fall, my favorite time of year. All of the tasty treats make their way back out onto store shelves, and back into our happy bellies. Those beautiful gem tone rich colors make their appearances on store racks, and Summer time prints make their way to the back of the closet. One of my favorite things about Fall Fashion is taking a print that would normally be associated with a different season, and re-purposing it for Fall. For example, take this gingham dress from Simply Be:
This dress is absolutely adorable. The length is perfect, it’s flowy without being too flowy, it’s soft, comfy, cozy, and looks great with or without tights. I wanted to go for a South Florida Fall look, so I chose to wear cute ankle boots with this dress. This dress is perfect for my growing baby bump too! Simply Be has a huge variety of great dresses to choose from, and I find that this dress is going to be so versatile from season to season! It has endless styling capabilities – tights, leggings, boots, sandals, heels, belted, without a belt, with a great leather jacket…there’s just so much you can do with this dress. I also really love the fact that it’s something cute that I can throw on with any style of shoes, and look and feel good. I fully plan on wearing this dress while running around taking care of my daughter – who will be making her debut any day now within the next 3 weeks!
Another great easy to wear look? This floral tunic and leggings from Simply Be:
Jersey Leggings (c/o)
I love the ease and simplicity of wearing a nice long top with a comfy pair of leggings – especially when the leggings aren’t see through! These leggings from Simply Be are fantastic – and have been a life saver with my baby bump. They are rather long on the top, so if you have a long torso, a larger belly, or are pregnant like me, these leggings will become your new favorite pair. Both the top and the leggings are super soft, which immediately makes them a favorite for me. I chose to pair this outfit with a beautiful emerald green gem tone bag, and a great pair of velvet loafers from Wanted Shoes. They are cute, stylish, velvet (hello!!), and forgiving of third trimester feet!
I feel prepped and ready to be a busy mom while still looking and feeling good with these two outfits. I am searching for versatility and ease looking into the future, and Simply Be really hit the nail on the head for me with these looks! What do you think? Which outfit is your favorite?
