This past weekend I attended the Fab Florida Bloggers event at the Soleil Spa
with Kara, MJ, Veronica, Ashley, and a few more bloggers I was excited to meet! Marissa
was so kind to put this event on for everyone, and it was really great. There was food, prizes, gifts, free polish changes, and little mini treatments. I definitely needed a day with the girls, so this was a wonderful treat. I met up with the owner of the Soleil Spa, as well as Marissa, Andrea & Maxine. Everyone looked fantastic and was super sweet!
Each girl got this awesome free swag in these cute little gift bags. They also had an auction where they auctioned off 5 pairs of Sunglasses, Cilea Lash products
, & Zoya product
s. I was excited to win the neutrals set of the Zoya polishes. I just cleaned out my nail lacquers, and ended up having to toss more than half of them.
My fun Christmas manicure by Sashanie
. I love the fading glitter!
This entire event got me in the mood to showcase some of my favorite little things I covet in my bathroom. This little wood rack houses a natural sponge & scrubber, as well as my essential oils & holistic inhalant (for colds & sinus). I love this thing.
I found these little pressed flowers along with a whole bunch of stuff that’s been packed away for years. I love these. They remind me of making pressed flowers & leaves in wax paper when I was a little girl.

Last week I met up with Veronica
, & Meggan
for dinner at Uncle Julios at Mizner Park. We had such a blast! How fast time goes when you are chatting away. It is so much fun to meet other bloggers, and I’m so glad to find some awesome ones so close by. Our conversations went from fashion, to high school experiences, to leftover talk, to natural disasters, to html coding & blog themes. Random fun fact of the evening? Jessica, Kara & I all went to the same high school, just separated by a year or two! Yet we never met or knew each other until now. Such a small world!

One of the things I love about living in the sunshine state is how many beautiful beaches we have to chose from. Though it is insanely hot this time of year, MJ
& I chose to do a super fun photo shoot at this lovely little park/beach. We were lucky to find a not very crowded area (the bulk of the park was crazy crowded!!) for our shoot. I think we spent the entire time laughing and taking tons of photos. I am so happy to have found such amazing friends in these two beautiful ladies. We are like peas in a pod!
Trying to shoot a successful jumping shot of us was seriously hilarious. We must have tried at least ten times before we decided to call it quits and move onto something else. I think MJ looks amazing in her jump shot!!
We tried and had so much fun (aside from being super hot and icky sweaty (I know, I know)).
I’ve definitely fallen in love with group photo shoots. It is so much fun and incredibly inspiring to mix up different photography styles. The photos turn out so much better than when shooting alone. I think group photo shoots are going to happen more often!!
I saw this grafitti, if you will, on a large pipe that once served a purpose on the beach. I felt so drawn to it. “One Earth” really screams to us that we are all together in this life. We are all fighting for the same thing. Yes, each person is important in their own way, but when you look at us compared to the billions of people on this planet, we are all just tiny little footprints in the sand. We are here, we fought, we loved, and we will leave, as our footprints do when the shore comes and wipes the beach clean. Why not be joined together to strengthen ourselves, our bonds with one another? It’s what it’s about, and I couldn’t be happier to be joined together with people like MJ, Kara, and all of you.
Last Saturday I was so pleased and excited to attend the Rachel Roy event at Macys. I met up with fabulous bloggers MJ from FIERCE
& Kara from Sprinkles in Springs
at the event for the first time. We had such a great time, and it was so wonderful to finally meet some local fashion bloggers. This event was filled with fabulous fashion, gorgeous shoes, sparkley jewelry, delicious raspberry drinks, and tons of smiles.
I am so in love with this maxi skirt!!!!
Check out these beauties from Rachel’s Fall Jewelry line being released this fall! (Above & below)
This ring is such a neat design. I liked the shape of it.
Meeting Rachel & Karina couldn’t have been better. They both are such amazingly sweet women, and absolutely stunning!!
To end the event, everyone received a little chocolate bar…
and…to top it off…I won a surf board! How fun is that!
